Windows 10, Laravel and Homestead

I've spend the better part of last night figuring out how I could get Homestead running on my fresh Windows 10 Laptop. Well,- I've spend about 3 hours with the current vagrant version, but did not manage to get it going.

Whenever I opened my console and tried the usual:
vagrant box add laravel\homestead

I got the following error:
The box 'laravel\homestead' could not be found or could not be accessed in the remote catalog. If this is a private box on HashiCorp's Atlas, please verify you're logged in via `vagrant login`. Also, please double-check the name. The expanded URL and error message are shown below: URL: ["https://atlas.hashicorp.com/laravel/homestead"]
Error:

I've double checked my installation (Git, Virtual Box etc.) and could not find any error. I ended up uninstalling the Vagrant version I've got (1.8.1) to install an older version 1.7.4 (that I knew was working with Windows 10). Now it's working again.

I thought I share this in case you go through the same pain.
